The hully Trinity, The Cult, hully Ghosts, Resurrections, and Ancient History (1-Present Day)

      The Cult that is ded ihn uh hul (also known as: The hully Trinity) comes from the ancient spirits that reside within each member. Parker (previous name unknown) was a demon leader in the OtherUnderWorld and is as old as the Earth (which includes the years he's been a human). She was the leader of the ded cult and sacrificed many souls to the hul. Kylie (Eiflyktion) was a Coyote Demon who was known to sing a haunting tune that everyone in the OtherUnderWorld fell asleep to each night. She joined the ded cult after she was discovered by Leo (Vyqezwm), who was the Executioner Demon of the OtherUnderWorld. He slaughtered many other demons in honor of the hul. This eventually led to him being the #2 leader of the cult, for this was seen as a necessary skill in a demon cult. The hully Ghosts are ancient spirits that were previously members of the ded cult in the OtherUnderWorld. They fill in for missing instrumental/vocal parts in live performances. Before each show, the members of the band sacrifice a worthy soul (a worthy soul must be a part of the cult and willingly give themselves up to be killed by ded ihn uh hul). And then during the intro ritual, they are resurrected. The resurrection represents the future of humanity. The essence of ded ihn uh hul has existed since the Earth was created. The albums’ names come from random and meaningful occurrences that happen through divine intervention.

Early Beginnings (2015-2017)

      ded ihn uh hul started in the year 2015 as a fever dream idea, along with the album name. A few songs were written and “recorded” by two of the members ~but mostly just one of the members~(Cheese Grater, Hole in the Basement, Metalizard, Robo Gecko, LGPB, Imimmortal <Early Edition>, GYASBLTS, R.I.P.); these songs never made their appearance on a ded ihn uh hul album because they sucked. With the creation of an animated TV show RIP (Randomness Is Power), ded ihn uh hul’s earliest recordings (RIP, RIP Fo Sho) were given light. The show truly became a reality by New Year's Eve 2016, leading into 2017. Even more recordings were made in the year 2016 that never made it onto a ded ihn uh hul album (RIP remix, DIP, etc...). Though, these songs did later appear on a R.I.P. album. The band remained pretty stagnant after that.

Official Formation and Translation: Bacon (2017) 

         Tragedy Struck on June 10, 2017 with passing of Iris Grace Arnold (6). This was a major tragedy of ded ihn uh hul, for Iris was the sister of Leo (drummer/lyricist). Iris is considered to be the biggest ded ihn uh hul fan because she always wanted to hear ded ihn uh hul perform despite how bad (gorgeous) the music was at the time. She is still honored to this day by the band. During the viewing of Iris, the current members of ded ihn uh hul (Parker Naatjes, Kylynne Jones, Leo Arnold, Mikelle Naatjes) all sat down together to lighten the mood of the circumstance. Eventually, this sitting-down led to the discussion of new ded ihn uh hul song names to help ease the pain. The song names came about by random occurrences and pictures during the viewing. These songs were added to the original line up of Translation: Bacon, ded ihn uh hul’s soon to be first album (the original line up was 27 songs…This was later reduced to 10 songs). After the viewing, the band decided to go home and write the first new song, Having Surgery. This is when the real first lineup of the band was evident. When the band decided to go from funny idea to actual band, they lost the interest of Mikelle (Mikki) which ended in her leaving the band. HSWRTPDP was written by Parker- Bass, Kylynne- Piano (written by Parker), and Leo- Drums, Vocals, and Lyrics. After successfully writing the first song, they decided to write the second song, Dress Pockets (Parker- Music/Melody/Keyboard, Kylie- Lyrics/Melody, Leo- Lyrics/Drums).

The Beginning and Meaning of the hul (???-2017)

        The hul was formed when the Earth was created, but it was first revealed to the human eye in 2017. No one knows where it came from. The hul is mysterious and very little is known about it. It takes millions of forms. Most notably the ‘Trio.’ There have been very few known sightings of the hul. The logo represents the hul. It is a spiritual entity, and each logo/depiction is based on actual sightings of the hul. The hul has only appeared to the members of ded ihn uh hul. (The band has a song about the hul... Sound Change (2017-2018)

       The Christmas season rolled around, and Parker had discovered some metal bands she enjoyed (A7x, Korn, etc..). These bands would eventually lead to the sound change of ded ihn uh hul. It wasn't until Christmas morning when Parker discovered BabyMetal during an epic fever dream phase that she was truly inspired to do a change of ded ihn uh hul’s sound. Leo, Kylie, and she eventually all shared a common interest in BabyMetal after Parker shared it with the rest of the band. ded ihn uh hul’s old sound was originally somewhere between indie-alt-rock and punk. It wasn't till many failed recording attempts of HSWRTPDP that Parker realized what was missing. She decided to alter the sound from alternative to metal, thus creating the sound they wanted. Imimmortal was re-written as Nu/Electronic Rap Metal, HSWRTPDP was re-written as a pop-punk metal tune, and the same goes for the rest of the songs.

The Debut Singles and the First EP (2019-2021)

        The members of ded ihn uh hul recorded the instrumentals for many tracks at this point. On New Year’s of 2019, Leo recorded drums for Havin’ Surgery on a half-broken electronic drum kit that Parker had in their basement. It was the 3rd attempt they had at recording the drums for that song. They had made many prior attempts at recording the song but weren’t really happy with the results (but they finally got it down, only took ‘em 3 years). The year 2020 made all of the progress the band had come to a grinding halt due to the COVID pandemic. Parker just recorded a bunch of instrumentals for future tracks. It wasn’t until the year 2021 on March 11th that they would finally record vocals for Havin’ Surgery. And on March 17th, all the instruments and vocals had been recorded. The single was officially released the following June. It was released exactly 4 years after writing it on June 15th, 2021. After completing Havin’ Surgery, ded ihn uh hul began finishing things up on their second single. On July 19th, ded ihn uh hul finished recording for their second single Still. That was a very important date for sacred and hully reasons that only the hul may reveal. It was officially released July 22, 2021. In late August, the dynamic of the band changed. Both Parker and Kylie moved to Provo, Utah to attend school. This is very convenient because Leo already lived in Provo. ded ihn uh hul was finally altogether in the same area. The hul had finally united them as one.
